Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control is the nonprofit organization that supports the Chicago Animal Care and Control shelter on S. Western Avenue. Founded in August 2009, their mission is to help Chicago’s neediest animals by providing foster families and loving care to the city’s neediest animals that, through no fault of their own, make their way to the Chicago Animal Care and Control facility.
