Heartland Animal Shelter (Northbrook, IL)

Heartland Animal Shelter is a no-kill organization dedicated to finding homeless dogs and cats forever homes while educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering in order to stop the pet overpopulation problem. Since 2002, Heartland has rescued over 8000 dogs and cats, and they do not discriminate against breed, age, size or health. On a monthly basis, Heartland has 220 active volunteers that help provide the best possible care for over 100 precious cats and dogs.
