High Hopes® for Pets Foundation awards $500 grants to 2 more rescue groups
JULY 02, 2012
The High Hopes® for Pets Foundation has awarded $500 grants to the Midwest Pug Rescue and ALIVE Rescue groups to help support all the great work they do helping homeless pets.
A big THANK YOU to all the wonderful customers who make the Foundation’s grants possible through their purchase of High Hopes®’ all-natural treats… you make it all possible!
Below is more detail about the exceptional work these organizations do. Please help spread the word! The Foundation will be awarding more grants in October, so be sure to let deserving animal care organizations know the deadline for application will be September 15, 2012.
Midwest Pug Rescue is an all-volunteer organization of pug lovers dedicated to providing fairy tale endings to their curly tailed friends. The Minnesota division works to raise public awareness of the plight of homeless animals through outreach and community events in the Minnesota area. Check them out at www.mnmidwestpugrescue.com or download their brochure here.
Founded in 2008 with a dream to build a sanctuary for homeless animals, ALIVE Rescue has already saved 224 animals with an amazing team of volunteers. The Little Barn, ALIVE’s animal adoption center is located in Chicago, and they are in process of creating an animal sanctuary (The Ranch) on 20 acres of land in southwest Michigan. For more information visit www.aliverescue.org or download their brochure here.
We’re so inspired by the work that these organizations do, and are certain that the grants will be well used to help them continue to accomplish their objectives. These are the 9th and 10th grants given by the Foundation since September 2011.
About The High Hopes® for Pets Foundation
The High Hopes® for Pets Foundation is a separate and independent not-for-profit entity, and receives its funding from the sale of High Hopes® all-natural dog treats. Every day, the High Hopes® brand donates 3.5% from every sale (up to 15% of the company’s profits) to the High Hopes® for Pets Foundation. The Foundation, in turn, donates to local shelter and rescue groups throughout the country.
Happy tails to all!
