BlackDog All Breed Dog Rescue (Glenview, IL)
Blackdog rescue is dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation of abandoned dogs from high kill shelters. A key focus is black dogs, who take substantially longer to be adopted and are the first to be euthanized. Working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians and trainers, they are able to care for and provide compassionate care for dogs in need until their forever home is found.

Big Dogs, Huge Paws (Denver, CO)
Big Dogs, Huge Paws is a volunteer-based, foster organization dedicated to rescuing, rehoming & rehabilitating unwanted giant dog breeds that have been mistreated, neglected, abused and/or abandoned. Many families do not do proper research regarding the costs and temperaments of the giant breed they are interested in, and the result is an alarming number of giant breed dogs in need of assistance. Their ultimate goal is to place each foster dog in a forever home as well to educate the community about the unique lifestyle and needs of these wonderful giant breed dogs. Over the last 6 years, Big Dogs, Huge Paws has found homes for 2,191 dogs.

Wright- Way Rescue (Morton Grove, IL)
Wright-Way Rescue’s mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. With multi-state rescues and weekly transport operations of 30-70 animals, they continue to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead offer them a second chance at a loving home in the Chicagoland area. A recent move to Morton Grove has resulted in an impressive line-up of programs that are designed to educate, and engage the community, including dog training and obedience classes, children’s birthday parties, family service nights, a retail store, tours, and full-service veterinary clinic.
