Longmont Humane Society is an open admission shelter dedicated to the protection of all animals, regardless of breed, age, size or appearance. LHS receives over 4,000 lost or homeless pets annually. In 2014, LHS achieved a live release rate of 94.6%, returning lost pets to their owners and finding new homes for those in need more than ever before. LHS also provides community outreach to create a more humane and compassionate society for companion animals.
