South Suburban Humane Society (Chicago Heights, IL)
Founded in 1970 by a small band of dedicated volunteers, the South Suburban Humane Society has grown to become Chicago’s 5th largest animal shelter, serving Chicago’s southern suburbs. They believe the pet-owner bond is special and powerful and will do everything they can to keep that bond intact. The Society has a new low-cost Wellness and Vaccine clinic, offers discounted grooming services, food, and targeted spay/neuter and education programs to help pets and their owners every step of the way.
